NES Collectors Guide App Reviews

Lots of data on the games, with screenshots. Not sure if the value and rarity are right, but its always difficult to estimate what a game is worth so lets just say it gives you a rough idea if the game is common or not. Good job! Ill probably the other guides...

Nice App for collectors especially with the update. But Im still missing some games.

Its pretty good but it would be cool if you could have a "wish list" tab for games you want and a "my collection" tab for games you already own.

I think this is a nice little app. Very simple, and easy to use. But the list is missing a few games. Which doesnt help if youre not sure if you own it or not if you come across some at a flea market. What else I think would be a neat idea is at the bottom showing how many you own out of the amount of games available. Ex., 490/1284 Id give it 5 stars if the list was complete.

I like the app, as I am a collector. I like how it shows you a picture of the game being played and one of the box art. Also linking to eBay to find a game is convenient. I just wish you could add a checklist so collectors can mark off games the own. If that was added, a 5 star app for collectors.

Great app for the collector on the go. Prices are accurate. Its easy and handy when out checking stores and resales shops. Keep them coming.

If you can you update with more games, and a checklist for people to use would be awesome. I feel these apps dont get enough love, but they should. Thanks for the sweet app, looking forward to more. Genesis or SNES guide would a great welcome addition to this series of apps.

Well you guys could describe the games because it would be more useful to the collectors. Also some of the games in here are title only, fix those and a checkoff list would make this the best NES guide by far!

Im not sure why others gave this application anything less than 5 stars! Its complete and gives us 80s kids a little piece of nostalgia! I only hope they make more for action figures!

this app has potential.. it definitely needs a quantity, cartridge, box, manual or complete option for every game.. the hardware section needs to have something similar.. needs a my collection list that would let us know how many remaining, boxed, cartridge only, manuals and complete.. a more nostalgic user interface would be nice.. and it definitely needs a new Icon.. possibly a retina display friendly icon ;) Im giving it a 4 because like I said.. it has potential to be great!

Other then needing to add more games to the list this app works great

this a pretty handy app for me but ive noticed that all the games are at the maximum price for instance dr.jekyll and mr.hyde is a really horrible game that is not worth the plastic it is in and is listed for four dollars plus if a nes game is twenty dollars ide rather go out and buy a used xbox 360 game also some more ideas for the hardware that i had would be the nes speed board and the nes roll and rocker and mabe you could include all of rob the robots attachments in the picture also mabe include a picture of the orange zapper as well also mabe include a picture of the other side of the power pad to, also mabe include that there were two kinds of nes advantages there was one that had a smooth surface and one with a slightly rougher surface like the surface on the top of an actual nes

This definately needs a check off list, that you can switch between All Games / Collection. So you can see your own check off list and know what your collection is and what your missing.. Great idea , needs this heck off list...otherwise Im just looking at games Im unsure I may have ...

Its a great app overall, but I think you should add Famicon games such as Mother 3. You have the hardware for putting Famicon games in, but not the actual games. But still, great app.

A great app for NES game collectors, but is kind of slow. A good, cheap buy.

This app is a MUST HAVE for either causual or hardcore NES collectors. I recommend this app for any and all Nintendo collectors. There are slight problems but not big enough to cause any grief from me. Obviously, there are items that could make this app better but either way its great and well worth the .99

Fantastic for a new NES collector. Lets you easily see games you own when on the go at a pawn shop, flea market, etc.

Okay, nice collection of box scans and some info. It would be nice to have the info section fleshed out with more game-like data and trivia. I know this would be a huge undertaking, but would be awesome. I suppose this could be added in via notes by the user, but would be great if it was built into the app. Also, theres a LOT of hardware missing from the list. For instance, the arkanoid paddle controller. I have one sitting on my shelf and its not even in the list. There were lots of controllers for the system that arent listed. I know that listing all of the pirate consoles my be a chore but would be a cool addition. I also agree with adding famicom games to the list, or at least cross referencing famicom games in the info section of the current games list. Again, its a good start, but theres so much potential for this app that it has yet to meet for both the collector and player.

I love this app for keeping a list of all the games i have. Great for flea markets and the like. I would like the tengen games to be labeled correctly. I think theyre mostly label as temco or something. Also add tengen tetris. Other than that, the app is well worth the .99.
